Amy Richards, Social Work Intern
Office Administrator

she/her

I am an educator with extensive experience working with both children and adults. My passion for mental health, creativity, recovery, and social justice led me to pursue a career in clinical social work. My lived experience, along with a strong interest in somatically informed attachment work, nervous system regulation, and the wisdom of the natural world, shapes my clinical approach.

I work with clients navigating Eating Disorders, OCD, and related anxiety disorders, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as ACT, ERP, and I-CBT. I am especially passionate about supporting individuals in midlife transitions, including menopause and its intersection with eating disorders. I provide LGBTQIA2SP+ affirming care.I deeply value the therapeutic alliance and work to cultivate a space that feels safe, supportive, and centered on each client’s unique needs and goals.

I am currently offering free 15-minute consultations, with session availability beginning in May 2026. Sliding-scale and limited pro bono options are available.

As the practice administrator, I am often the first point of contact. I manage day-to-day operations to support both clients and clinicians, oversee our social media presence, and assist with website updates.
