Christine is no longer accepting clients for ongoing therapy. She has a waitlist for Safe and Sound Protocol delivery and coordinates with treatment teams to provide this short term intervention. Christine founded the Fellowship for Somatically Integrated Eating Disorder Treatment through which she provides mentorship and intensive training to clinicians who have already excelled in their clinical work and want to grow in the area of somatic therapy and integrating embodied practices. Seeing one of our fellows is a great option if you are seeking out work with a somatically integrated provider.
I value the innate wisdom of each individual as the guiding force of our work together. With extensive training in serving diverse populations, I work through a Health at Every Size lens and welcome clients from all racial and cultural backgrounds, sexual orientations, and gender identities. I specialize in the treatment of trauma and eating disorders and the intersection of attachment and sensory processing issues. I also work with life transitions, anxiety, depression, learning differences, issues impacting the LGBTQQIA+ community, parenting, and resolving shock trauma. I have extensive training in Somatic Experiencing and Embodied Recovery. I work with a psycho-biological approach and often integrate expressive arts and movement into my work with clients. My work is informed by my training in Mindfulness, ACT, and DBT, as well as my background teaching arts in the public school system.
My work is wholeheartedly driven by my firm belief in the resiliency of the human spirit, which connects to my own lived experience.
I believe that each individual holds their own answers, and I would be honored to share in your journey to orienting to your unique capacity to heal and live authentically.
