she/her

I am a licensed therapist serving adult individuals and couples in North Carolina. I have dedicated my entire career as a counselor to helping those who feel they don’t quite “fit”- in their bodies, their gender or sexuality, their relationships, or their culture. I treat clients and their dedication to their therapy journey with great dignity, and clients often share that, in working with me, they feel listened to and respected. I think of myself as a helper and a healer, and I find true fulfillment in my work as a therapist. I believe in the importance of humor and pay close attention to the therapeutic relationship and dynamics “in the room.”

I am an advocate for social justice and believe therapy can be a tool of radical change, within ourselves and in the world at large.

I specialize in Eating Disorders, LGBTQQIA+ issues, and couples therapy. I treat individuals struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, and self-harm. Though I individualize my approach for each client, I work through a Health at Every Size lens and draw from modalities such as DBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy.
