I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate supporting adult (18+) individuals in North Carolina. I partner with folks to recover from trauma and renegotiate their relationships with themselves, their bodies, and others. I support individuals struggling with eating disorders, depression, and anxiety. I have experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community as well as neurodiverse individuals. I draw from modalities such as Attachment Theory, Person-Centered, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and somatic and trauma-informed experiential interventions.
“I believe the essential cornerstone of meaningful therapy is the deeply felt sense that your therapist “gets it” and genuinely understands what it’s like to be you. In our work, you don’t have to face these challenges alone, we can find our way together.“
Folks frequently tell me, “I’m trying so hard, but it never seems to be enough and I’m exhausted!” My clients are often described as reflective, intuitive, driven, or highly sensitive people. They frequently know the exhaustion of impostor syndrome, people-pleasing, and trying to fit into their “expected” boxes. They want to know they belong, are intrinsically valued, and feel connected to themselves and their communities.
I see myself as a co-navigator and partner in your mental health journey. I intentionally foster a supportive space where you can cultivate your innate wisdom and turn inwards with curiosity and gentleness. Together, we will explore the life experiences, relational patterns, and internalized beliefs that shape who and how you are in the world and cultivate empathy and confidence as you move towards being the person you want to be. We will establish goals for our work together that reflect your unique needs and honor how you wish to change and grow.
